V-2 PLUS

Multipurpose Thread Sealant w/ PTFE - A multipurpose jointing compound that is soft-setting, non-petroleum based for use with potable water, liquids and gases where immediate pressurization is desirable or necessary. V2 PLUS provides an excellent seal for correctly made-up taper thread connections to 50mm (2) diameter. Applications: V2 PLUS may be used on steel, aluminum, brass, copper, iron, polyethylene, reinforced fiberglass, and PVC. Do not use V2 PLUS on ABS and CPVC. V2 PLUS is suitable for threaded pipe carrying: Air - Inert Gases Butane/Propane gas - Water Hydraulic Oil - Natural Gas Dilute acid/alkali - Refrigerants Brine - Steam at low pressure CO2 gas - Water/glycol mix Benefits Soft setting Allows immediate pressurization Contains aramid fiber, PTFE & natural fillers Water-resistant Low odor Non-petroleum based Brushable to 0°F (-18°C)
